The Role of Orchard Bird Net

Even double-layered paper bags wrapped in apples are immune to bird infestation. Birds can pierce the paper bag and eat the fruit. During the coloring period after the apples are picked from the bag, the bright colors and fragrance will attract more birds to eat.

As a rule of thumb, fruit is worse for birds, bagged apple orchards are worse than non-bagged apple orchards, light-colored fruit surfaces are worse than shady sunny slopes; is how small.

On the one hand, birds feed on harmful fruits, and on the other hand, most birds are also important natural enemies of orchard and farmland pests. In one study, birds were found to eat up to 98 percent of codling moth larvae. Therefore, while preventing and controlling bird damage, we must also pay attention to protecting these birds. Build bird-proof nets.

The anti-bird net is suitable for large-area orchards and small-area orchards. Due to the poor ability of birds to distinguish light and color, white and red materials can be used to allow birds to clearly see the net and retreat automatically. In hail-prone areas, adjusting the mesh size and combining hail-proof nets with bird-proof nets is a good measure to get twice the result with half the effort.
